I’ve had a lifelong love affair with books, words and language. It eventually evolved to include writing, which in turn led to editing.
I’ve managed to incorporate writing and editing into my responsibilities for just about every job I’ve ever had, including while serving my country as a linguist in the United States Air Force for seven years.
In the mid-90s, I began working as a freelance writer and editor, seeing my fiction and nonfiction published both online and in print. I was also a columnist for the Air Force Times, and worked at a small town newspaper in Texas.
In the fall of 2008, I fell in love again, this time with SEO and content marketing. I was able to draw on my writing and editing experience to specialize in content and editorial management.
After working in a couple of marketing agencies and freelancing all the while, I took the entrepreneurial plunge and built my own business as a full-time SEO content strategist, offering a handful of content services.
Get in touch and let’s talk about how I can apply my love of words and experience with SEO to help you build a stronger brand through high-quality, optimized content and empathetic content strategy.
